Course Objectives The aim of the course is to make students acquire knowledge and skills about haematological analysis.
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Define main concepts of haematology,
  • Explain working principles and safety principles in the hematology laboratory
  • Explain the structure of blood
  • Define blood count methods
  • Explain structure of hemoglobin and hemoglobin determination methods
  • Define how to perform hematological analysis
Course Description This course covers preanalytical, analytical, post analytical processes in the hematology laboratory
